I made this webpage mostly to get off of Pinterest. I dont like the website, yet, I use it. I hate AI and I am sick of being forced to see it when I look for inspiration. I am convinced I could do better than that. The only thing I do like the board function. I have one specific board that I cannot bear to lose. That board is called the gender reveal board.
The gender reveal board is a board of revealing my gender to me. I was a man who wore rockabilly dresses and vintage clothes for many years. Then it hit me, I might be more than a man. Crazy, right? Anyways, after a lot of soul searching and such I landed on the vague nonbinary...
The truth is though I am not a vague person so I reached for the concrete nature of being able to see something. I guess it turned out to be this. That (plus my love for sewing and the fiber arts) basically devolved into a board of sewing inspiration for clothes that would make me feel like myself.
I have been using this board nonstop. Finding pictures, adding them, organizing them, and eventually literally sewing them (either exactly or through the world of inspiration). So this blog (diary? Image collection?) will include my finished (and unfinished projects) of such a nature. Even more specifically, it will include all of the images and results categorized in ways I personally find helpful.
My hopes is, with this website, I will never use Pinterest again. Fuck them, let's have some fun.
